North Carolina – Day 2 !

Well yesterday was a very long and busy day, but it sure was worth it !
I would have to say the highlight was meeting Bill Carson at the Orchards at Altapass. Bill is sure a story teller right up there with Stuart MacLean. You can learn more about Altapass way up there in the Blueridge Mountains at www.altapassorchard.com .
Today we head out on the “String of Pearls Trail” to Chimney Rock and Chimney Rock State Park. We’re told by Becky that Chimney Rock has pulled together as a community like nothing we’ve ever seen before, so it should be very interesting. Check out www.chimneyrockpark.com for more info.
By the look of our itinerary though it’ll be another very long day.
