North Carolina – Day 2 Part 2

Wow wow ! What a day it’s been ! As mentioned this morning, we went to check out Black Mountain North Carolina, a neat little town with a great big heart. Specifically we toured the Black Mountain Arts Center and had a great time. Their pottery studio (follow their Clay link) was VERY …cool and they run many cool workshops. Their “Full Moon Raku” idea is perfect ! Thanks for sharing some of your glaze knowledge with us !
We spent the whole afternoon at Chimney Rock Park crawling all over this and that, then heading up up up to the peak where a breathtaking view was waiting for us ! Even Cindy, who is not the biggest fan of heights, enjoyed it. If you ever end up in this part of the world, set a full day aside to explore both the park and the village.
We’ve got an hour or so to rest before it’s off to supper at the Grovewood Cafe so I’m going to put my feet up and take a break.
