We recycle – Thanks to our investment in an efficient “pug mill”, 100% of our pre-fired clay waste resulting from production and our experiential workshops is recycled for reuse. This not only allows us to control raw material costs which of course allows us to keep our item costs affordable for your family, but reduces many other energy-dependent activities such as Greenhouse Gasses as a result of delivery vehicles.
Your family’s health is important – As a plastic vessel wears out the opportunity for harmful bacteria growth increases dramatically in the scratches that develop from normal use. Right Off The Batt Pottery glazes are stable, traditional and industry-proven to remain intact throughout the life of your pottery piece. Our pottery is kiln-fired to over 2,100 degrees farenheit, and as a result the vitrified surfaces of our work will not afford the same bacteria-friendly environment as offered by the plastic alternative.
